I’m delighted to announce the official inauguration of the Centre for Global Knowledge Studies (gloknos) on 19 October 2018, from 4 to 7 PM at CRASSH, University of Cambridge.

Prof. David Edgerton, of King’s College London, who is joining gloknos‘s Advisory Board, will give the inaugural lecture, which also launches gloknos‘s first Annual Lecture Series, entitled ‘Turning the global history of ‘technology’ upside down: The supremacy of Uruguay’.
