IR Centenary Roundtable at the EISA’s PEC18 Conference

Handbook Flyer 2The SAGE Handbook of the History, Philosophy and Sociology of International Relations is now out (https://uk.sagepub.com/en-gb/eur/the-sage-handbook-of-the-history-philosophy-and-sociology-of-international-relations/book250865).

Last week in Prague, we organised a roundtable with 10 of the contributors to the Handbook, at the European International Studies Association’s 12th Pan-European Conference on International Relations. For many scholars in the field of IR, 2018 is the 100th year of the field’s institutional existence, and we hope the Handbook, which offers a collective reflection on IR as an academic field and a community of practice, will help colleagues and students commemorate this ‘centenary’ with a historically and sociologically robust understanding of our past and present condition as researchers, teachers, and citizens.
